December 11, 2025: Piedmont, CA 94611 The Piedmont Highlanders basketball team scored 91 points and limited the visiting Oakland Wildcats to 35 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Highlanders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Vanden for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. Piedmont will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 55-54 non-league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.
The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Dons come into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Amador Valley was ripped by Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA), 64-19, in a non-league game.
