The Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) basketball were winner over the visiting Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA), 64-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. Piedmont will play a Fightin' Irish squad coming off a 56-43 non-league win over Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 1-5.
