Tennessee High School Basketball - University thwarts Elizabethton
December 12, 2022: Johnson City, TN 37614 The University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN), 61-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Hancock County (Sneedville, TN). The Indians go into the 1A District 2 test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Hancock County went down by Cherokee (Rogersville, TN), 66-53, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Cyclones now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Monday, December 12.
