North Carolina High School Basketball - Greenfield nips Trinity Christian
December 12, 2022: Wilson, NC 27895 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Trinity Christian Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC), saw Greenfield's basketball squad hold off Trinity Christian by a tally of 64-58.
With the victory, Greenfield improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC) to play the Generals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Wayne Preparatory Academy won 69-32 in their recent league challenge against Howard (Wilson, NC)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC) in a NCISAA Sandhills challenge, on Friday, December 16. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 76-51 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Sanford, NC).
