The Monarch Knights basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Fort Lauderdale Flying L's to 34 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plantation for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Monarch will battle a Colonels team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Piper (Sunrise, FL). The Colonels record now stands at 3-2.

The Flying L's (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record.
