Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA) and the host Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA), saw Quartz Hill's basketball squad hold off Lancaster by a tally of 49-44.

With the victory, Quartz Hill improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Royals host Highland (Palmdale, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Golden challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Highland won 83-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA)
