Missouri High School Basketball - Linn County tops Northwestern
December 12, 2022: Mendon, MO 64660 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Linn County Mustangs (Purdin, MO) and the host Northwestern Eagles (Mendon, MO), saw Linn County's basketball squad knock off Northwestern by a tally of 50-34.
With the victory, Linn County improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Meadville (Meadville, MO) to play the Eagles in a Tri-County - Northeast challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Meadville won 73-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Brashear (Brashear, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Braymer Bobcats (Braymer, MO) in a CLAA challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 57-25 league win over Tina-Avalon (Tina, MO).
