The Aquinas Institute Little Irish basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting University Prep Griffins to 64 in the Little Irish league victory on Tuesday.

The Little Irish now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Brothers Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Aquinas Institute will battle a Brothers team coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 1-2.

The Griffins (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Vertus (Rochester, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 5 Private Parochial contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Vertus was nudged by Rochester Academy (Rochester, NY), 52-51, in a non-league contest.
