December 12, 2023: Bemidji, MN 56601 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) and the host Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN), saw Moorhead's basketball squad overcome Bemidji by a tally of 80-65.
With the victory, Moorhead improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Spuds host Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to play the Bison in a AAAA Section 8 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Buffalo won 76-54 in their recent league challenge against Rogers (Rogers, MN)
Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Bemidji will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
