Kentucky High School Basketball - Grayson County thwarts Bethlehem
December 12, 2023: Leitchfield, KY 42754 The Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY), 73-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Thomas Nelson went down by Nelson County (Bardstown, KY), 54-37, in a league test.
The Eagles/Banshees now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Bardstown for a District 19 test on Friday, December 15. Bethlehem will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 73-60 league loss to Washington County (Springfield, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
