December 12, 2023: Standish, ME 04084 The Bonny Eagle Scots basketball team (Standish, ME), dropped 64-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME)
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edward Little for a AA North battle on Friday, December 15. Portland will battle a Red Eddies team coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 1-3.
The Scots (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans come into the AA South battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Thornton Academy beat Deering (Portland, ME), 52-50, in a league battle.
