Maine High School Basketball - Portland can't hold off Windham
January 6, 2024: Windham, ME 04062 The Windham Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Portland Bulldogs to 47 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Falmouth for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Windham will battle a Navigators team coming off a 74-47 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Navigators record now stands at 7-1.
The Bulldogs (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Deering (Portland, ME). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Deering edged Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 63-50, in a league contest.
