December 12, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24018 The Pulaski County Cougars basketball team (Dublin, VA), was routed 61-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA)
The Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem for a River Ridge battle on Friday, December 15. Cave Spring will battle a Spartans team coming off a 71-54 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins come into the River Ridge battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Blacksburg was routed by Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 81-63, in a league battle.
