December 12, 2023: Challis, ID 83226

Challis Vikings (Challis, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mackay Miners (Mackay, ID), 61-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Challis upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Carey (Carey, ID) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Carey lost 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Charter (Nampa, ID)

Next up, the Miners play the North Gem Cowboys (Bancroft, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Mackay will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 66-50 non-league loss to Malad (Malad, ID).
