December 12, 2023: Westlake, LA 70669 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Westlake Rams (Westlake, LA) and the visiting DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA), saw Westlake's basketball squad knock off DeRidder by a count of 58-38.
With the victory, Westlake upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rams host North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. North Vermilion won 41-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA)
Next up, the Dragons play the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. DeRidder will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
