North Carolina High School Basketball - Fort Mill can't hold off South Point

December 12, 2023: Belmont, NC 28012

The South Point Red Raiders basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Fort Mill Yellow Jackets to 47 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashbrook for a 3A Big South contest on Friday, December 15. South Point will battle a Greenwave team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 6-0.

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Northwestern was nudged by Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC), 65-38, in a non-league contest.
