Washington High School Basketball - Zillah holds off Grandview
December 12, 2023: Zillah, WA 98953 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) and the visiting Grandview Greyhounds (Grandview, WA), saw Zillah's basketball squad hold off Grandview by a tally of 71-66.
With the victory, Zillah improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Naches Valley (Naches, WA) to confront the Rangers in a 1A South Central - West challenge on Friday, December 15. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Naches Valley won 49-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Sunnyside Christian (Sunnyside, WA)
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the Ellensburg Bulldogs (Ellensburg, WA) in a 2A Central Washington challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Grandview will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 60-48 non-league loss to Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA).
