December 28, 2023: Zillah, WA 98953 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) and the visiting Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA), saw Zillah's basketball squad hold off Lynden by a tally of 70-65.
With the victory, Zillah improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Seton Catholic lost 49-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Brewster (Brewster, WA)
Next up, the Lions play the Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Lynden will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 75-67 non-league loss to Grandview (Grandview, WA).
