Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) and the visiting Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), saw Union's basketball squad hold off Honaker by a tally of 41-38.

With the victory, Union improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Floyd County (Floyd, VA) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
