December 12, 2023: Wilton, IA 52778 In Tuesday's league outing, the Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) basketball squad felled the visiting Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA), by a margin of 71-60.
The Beavers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Iowa Valley was beaten by Sigourney (Sigourney, IA), 68-34, in a league outing.
The Golden Hawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 14. Mid-Prairie will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 61-52 league loss to Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
