Georgia High School Basketball - Morgan County fells Oconee County
December 12, 2023: Watkinsville, GA 30677 Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 73-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Morgan County upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to play the Purple Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Purple Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Monroe Area lost 64-41 in their recent non-league bout against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Oconee County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 52-30 non-league win over Social Circle (Social Circle, GA).
