North Carolina High School Basketball - Nash Central knocked off by Southern Nash

The Southern Nash Firebirds basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs to 41 in the Firebirds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Firebirds now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Johnston for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Southern Nash will battle a Trojans team coming off a 78-69 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.

The Bulldogs (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Rams enter the 2A/3A Big East contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Franklinton was defeated by Person (Roxboro, NC), 56-51, in a non-league contest.
