December 12, 2023: Rice Lake, WI 54868 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) and the host Rice Lake Warriors (Rice Lake, WI), saw Northwestern's basketball squad hold off Rice Lake by a tally of 76-75.
With the victory, Northwestern improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Spooner (Spooner, WI) to confront the Rails in a Heart O'North challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Rails come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Spooner lost 83-51 in their recent league challenge against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Menomonie Mustangs (Menomonie, WI) in a Big Rivers challenge, on Friday, December 15. Rice Lake will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 63-62 league loss to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI).
