AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), 62-26 in a league bout.

With the win, AHSTW upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA) to clash with the Panthers in a Western Iowa bout on Friday, December 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Logan-Magnolia lost 57-37 in their recent league bout against Underwood (Underwood, IA)

Next up, the Big Reds clash with the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) in a Western Iowa bout, on Thursday, December 14. Missouri Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, IA).
