Maryland High School Basketball - Atholton holds off Meade
December 12, 2023: Columbia, MD 21044 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) and the visiting Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD), saw Atholton's basketball squad hold off Meade by a tally of 38-35.
With the victory, Atholton improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to confront the Wildecats in a Howard County challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Wildecats come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Wilde Lake lost 44-30 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Old Mill Patriots (Millersville, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Friday, December 15. Meade will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 42-39 league loss to Broadneck (Annapolis, MD).
