Maryland High School Basketball - Arundel can't hold off Atholton
December 20, 2023: Gambrills, MD 21054 The Atholton Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Arundel Wildcats to 44 in the Raiders non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Raiders now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reservoir for a Howard County contest on Thursday, December 21. Atholton will battle a 'Gators team coming off a 57-37 league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The 'Gators record now stands at 4-1.
The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Annapolis (Annapolis, MD). The Panthers come into the Anne Arundel County contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Annapolis edged Southern (Harwood, MD), 70-68, in a league contest.
