December 12, 2023: Tyndall, SD 57066 The Irene/Wakonda Eagles basketball team (Irene, SD), was routed 74-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Bon Homme Cavaliers (Tyndall, SD)
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 14. Bon Homme will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 44-40 league win over Menno (Menno, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-2.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Cougars come into the B Region 4 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Viborg/Hurley trounced Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD), 52-50, in a non-league battle.
