The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Irene/Wakonda Eagles to 29 in the Black Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Black Panthers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lennox for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Platte/Geddes will battle a Orioles team coming off a 46-35 non-league win over West Central (Hartford, SD). The Orioles record now stands at 9-1.
