December 29, 2023: Platte, SD 57369 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) and the visiting Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), saw Platte/Geddes's basketball squad knock off Canistota by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Platte/Geddes improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Black Panthers host Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Corsica/Stickney won 41-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD)
Next up, the Hawks play the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Rutland (Ramona, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Canistota will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
