The Maxwell Wildcats basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Brady Eagles to 29 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paxton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Maxwell will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-42 non-league win over Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE). The Wolves enter the D1 District 11 contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Maywood/Hayes Center ran past Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE), 60-6, in a league contest.
