The Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 74-13 in Tuesday's league test.

The Hornets (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Rabbits go into the 3A Region II District 14 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Atlanta walloped Queen City (Queen City, TX), 66-61, in a league test.

The Brahmas now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Redwater for a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, December 15.
