Maine High School Basketball - Leavitt crushes Lisbon
December 12, 2023: Turner, ME 04282 Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), 76-12 in a league bout.
With the win, Leavitt upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Hornets host Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Erskine Academy won 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a B South bout, on Friday, December 15. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
