Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes (Homestead, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mater Academy Bay Rays (Cutler Bay, FL), 60-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Somerset Academy South Homestead upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Mater Academy Bay (Cutler Bay, FL) to clash with the Rays in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Rays go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
