Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 72-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Tishomingo County improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Hardin County (Savannah, TN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Hardin County won 45-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Scotts Hill (Reagan, TN)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) in a 4A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Ripley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
