The Ariton Purple Cats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Northside Methodist Academy Knights to 52 in the Purple Cats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Purple Cats now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Zion Chapel for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Ariton will confront a Rebels team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Laurel Hill (Laurel Hill, FL). The Rebels record now stands at 3-9.
