In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars basketball team scored a good 67-53 victory over the Las Cruces Bulldawgs.

With the victory, Atrisco Heritage Academy advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Jaguars host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Bears in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 0-4. La Cueva lost 65-43 in their recent non-league battle against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)

The Bulldawgs now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deming for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. Las Cruces will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-6.
