The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers were victorious over the host Philip Barbour Colts basketball squad by a final score of 44-34 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Buccaneers clash with the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a Big Ten outing, on Tuesday, December 17. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 2-0 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Riverside (Belle, WV).
