In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Westwood Panthers basketball team scored a close 70-66 triumph over the Central Heights Blue Devils.

The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Hudson nipped Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX), 47-43, in a non-league contest.
