In Thursday's league test, the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) basketball squad trounced the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), by a score of 75-44.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet test, on Tuesday, December 17. McDonald will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 55-24 league loss to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH).

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Rockets come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet test with a 0-2 record.
