December 12, 2024: Savannah, GA 31408 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA), observed Savannah Christian's basketball team knock off Memorial Day by a score of 52-36.
The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA). The Paladins come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Fellowship Christian was knocked off by Walker (Marietta, GA), 88-54, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Southside Christian Patriots (Waycross, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Memorial Day will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 64-62 league win over Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA).
