The Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) basketball crushed the host Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ), 60-39 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Mica Mountain will play a Badgers team coming off a 74-42 non-league loss to Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Poston Butte falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Broncos host Cactus (Glendale, AZ) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Cactus lost 63-47 in their recent non-league bout against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)
