Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Southmoreland overwhelmed by Elizabeth Forward

In Thursday's league test, the Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA), by a score of 64-21.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 3 test, on Monday, December 16. Elizabeth Forward will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 49-46 non-league win over University (Morgantown, WV).

The Scotties (2-4) will now prepare for their test against McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Highlanders come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, McGuffey was routed by Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 71-42, in a non-league test.
