In Thursday's league test, the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), by a score of 65-34.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 16. Tri-Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 37-31 non-league loss to Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL).

The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Timberwolves come into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Cissna Park bounced Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL), 46-15, in a league test.
