Maine High School Basketball - Lake Region bests Mountain Valley
December 12, 2024: Rumford, ME 04276 The Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) basketball toppled the host Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), 41-29 in Thursday's league bout.
The Lakers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Yarmouth for a B South bout on Tuesday, December 17. Lake Region will play a Clippers team coming off a 37-14 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Mountain Valley falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to play the Ramblers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Winthrop lost 38-37 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME)
