Arkansas High School Basketball - Mammoth Spring victorious over Viola
December 12, 2024: Mammoth Spring, AR 72554 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mammoth Spring Bears basketball team scored a good 44-36 triumph over the Viola Longhorns.
The Bears (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 2 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Tuckerman was topped by Marshall (Marshall, AR), 50-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Viola will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 50-27 non-league win over Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR).
