The Midland Trail Patriots basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Shady Spring Tigers to 32 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Greater Beckley Christian for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Midland Trail will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 62-18 non-league loss to Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Shady Spring falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to confront the Flying Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 13.
