December 12, 2024: Okemah, OK 74859 Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK), 70-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Okemah advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Hilldale (Muskogee, OK) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-2. Hilldale lost 72-46 in their recent non-league match against Keys (Park Hill, OK)
The Tigers now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bristow for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Wewoka will face a Pirates squad coming off a 45-39 league loss to Mannford (Mannford, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.
