December 12, 2024: Sisseton, SD 57262 The Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) basketball were winner over the visiting Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD), 77-64 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Redmen now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mobridge-Pollock for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Sisseton will play a Tigers team coming off a 82-34 league win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Sioux Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cossacks travel to Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD) to play the Cyclones in a A Region 2 bout on Saturday, December 14. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Clark/Willow Lake won 59-18 in their recent non-league bout against Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD)
