Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA), 63-60 in a league match.

With the victory, Dan River advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, December 15. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-2. Tunstall lost 57-42 in their recent non-league match against Gretna (Gretna, VA)

The Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Buckingham for a non-league game on Monday, December 15. Appomattox County will confront a Knights team coming off a 69-50 non-league loss to Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
