With the victory, Shelby County advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL) to meet the Volunteers in a 5A Area 8 battle on Monday, December 15. The Volunteers enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Central of Clay County lost 61-37 in their recent league challenge against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL)
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) in a 5A Area 12 challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Center Point will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 61-60 league loss to Springville (Springville, AL).
